GN ReSound is a company that has evolved from the acquisition and merger of a number of smaller hearing aid brands. Its name is derived from an American company ReSound and the Danish company of Danavox which was part of the GN or Great Nordic group. GN ReSound is now Danish and still remains part of Great Nordic.
In UK GN ReSound are based just outside Oxford where they also run a division called GN Otometrics that supply diagnostic equipment for Hearing Aid Audiologists and the NHS. They have a reputation for innovation and with the ReSound Air were the first to use thin tubes to deliver sound from micro BTEs.
